MetaScope

Interactive Image-searching Kaleidoscope

NOTE: METASCOPE IS CURRENTLY BROKEN (due to a recent change in Google's Image page). I'm aware of the problem, but won't have time to fix it for a few weeks... - Jim

MetaScope is like having a million screensavers in one. This is because it's not really a screensaver -- it's an interactive image-searching kaleidoscope maker. This might sound complicated, but it's not:

Simply type in the names of your favorite things, such as Britney Spears or Giant Squirrels or Radioactive Broccoli (or Muffins) or anything else you like. In about 10 seconds, you get a gorgeous new kaleidoscope, containing pictures of those very things!

MetaScope uses five different Internet image search services, giving it access to millions of pictures.
